tiny … this is SO EXCELLENT.

I guess there remain ways to put it in their faces without BEING THEM (rude, illiterate, swinish) …

I went to see in the valley of elah last night. If David Swanson hadn’t quite rightly and immediately identified his feelings as ANGER upon viewing this movie I might have hid it from myself for awhile. It’s a fair hard to watch movie for me …. graphic … and so my brain has a tendency to shelf that stuff off to the side and examine it bit by bit as I can take it.
At any rate …. my anger was lit and my understanding has died. I will stop short of avowing that anyone standing for this war is my enemy but I STATE FIRMLY that my understanding for anyone’s motivation to support even a moment of war or violence will never really surface again.
And, the Americans and the world owe a debt of gratitude to Tommy Lee … the whole movie is his face. As one thing after another comes home to roost. For all of us. Not just him.
If you haven’t seen it, please do.

  2. Fishbone McGonigle Says:

Yeah, but see, they fought the War of Ideas over here, so that the phony soldiers could fight the War of Bullets and Bombs over there.

    Or something.

  3. Lonnie Bate Says:

Don’t you think that those who do not serve for whatever reason, used their talents in other ways. So what if they did not serve. Bill Clinton did not serve. Those who do not serve try harder to make the grade, they have more to live up to. I did not serve, as well as most Americans. What is your fu*kin point?

  4. tiny... Says:

If you really don’t get it then you are correct… there is no “fu*kin” point.

  5. Veteran. Not A Veteran. Says:

    [...] Last weeks Episode. [...]
