Been quite busy this week so (apologies go out to all) I’ll try to sum up my thoughts this week…
With so much scandal, death, incompetence, abuse of power, cronyism, and down right thievery of our nations coffers (that would be your taxes), that has gone on in the last seven years it truly is impossible to keep up with it all - especially when compared to say a little (acquitted of) ol’ Whitewater scandal -. It almost forces a pulled back, broad view, on the ebb and flow of this machine of calamity to grasp it. So, here we are again at the peak of a wave of criminality while finding ourselves without hope that anything other than the compacting of our anger will come of this.
And what of the “could bees” of the next group of Presidential hopefuls from the GrandOP? They seem to be quite busy buzzing around building their own hives of deceit that when nudged will pour out a wave of scandal proven to free the mind of the previous days deluge of honey grubbin’. A run down gives us Mitt busted for using illegal immigrant labor, AGAIN. Rudy - in a scandal so outweighing any Clinton affair - was having quite a time at the expense of the NYC taxpayers, and his wife, AGAIN. And even the new bandwagon driver Huckabee, the only passable, Religious Right, pied piper of them all, shows he that can bear false witness with the best of ‘em.
Oh, and for the 1776th time the press had the Prez caught dead in a lie and did nothing. Then, they play this silly game of “gotchya, dodge & parry” with Press Secretary Perrino and then they all go home for… you guessed it, cookies!
We have either a president who is too dishonest to restrain himself from invoking World War Three about Iran at least six weeks after he had to have known that the analogy would be fantastic, irresponsible hyperbole — or we have a president too transcendently stupid not to have asked — at what now appears to have been a series of opportunities to do so — whether the fairy tales he either created or was fed, were still even remotely plausible.
A pathological presidential liar, or an idiot-in-chief. It is the nightmare scenario of political science fiction: A critical juncture in our history and, contained in either answer, a president manifestly unfit to serve, and behind him in the vice presidency: an unapologetic war-monger who has long been seeing a world visible only to himself.”
They really barely even try anymore, they just toss another ginormous lie on the barbie and watch the media stew it to perfection. With “Impeachment off the table” (read: Nancy you blockhead), is it any wonder?
