So Bush asks for a bunch of free money for his pals with no strings attached. The Dems work their ass off and actually get oversight, accountability, and limits on executive compensation. McCain swoops in to save the day with his sudden expert grasp of what he admittedly knows nothing about and wrecks the deal. Which is fine with me. I guess there is benefit from his desperation for relevancy. Anyway, surprise. Bush is gonna get that cash anyway. In true signing statement fashion he’ll do what he wants when he wants to so you poor folks can all just shut the fuck up.
