Sarah steps down or is forced out and gives McCain a second bite at the VP apple. It’s the only thing they can do at this point.

Then again, I could be wrong.

If they do that, I’d argue it was the plan all along. Distract everything with her sparkly teeth, she steps down and they get someone in there that the dimwits get excited about and boom, election over. Could it work…

with the latest day to day knee-jerkiness of their campaign it’s difficult to give them credit for that kind of forethought. Likely simple opportunism.
