Although their intent was the opposite, clearly the Republicans and Fox News have further snookered themselves with all this teabagging business. It’s done nothing but bring into full view a highly disjointed amalgam of freakishly bizarre socio-economic “theories” born from an equally bizarre (and rather tiny) cross-section of the far right populace.
I was a bit upset at the way Fox had been pushing this thing but now I see the poetry, that it is they who are putting on The Crazy Show for all to see.

Ugh, agreed. There was a gathering of protesters just outside of the newspaper where I work (we covered the whole thing, too. Ick.) I did learn the phrase, “fiscal child abuse.” Freakishly bizarre sounds about right. “DON’T TAX ME BRO!”
